Mary's main project at present is a second monograph, Solidarity in European Healthcare, under contract with Edward Elgar.

 

As at early 2025, under review are Mary’s analyses of:

 

• State aid rules and the Services of General Economic Interest exception as located between competition and constitutionalism in EU law

 

• State aid rules and public hospitals in light of the 2022 Commission Evaluation of state aid rules on SGEI applicable to the healthcare and social sectors and the Court of Justice’s 2023 Casa Regina Apostolorum judgment
